Wedding dress alterations:when to book.

A calm bridal timeline from 30+ years of fittings: when to message us, what happens at each fitting, and how your pickup date gets locked in.

01Book as early as you can

Good alterationists diary up, especially March to September. Message us with your wedding date the moment you have the dress — an early booking costs nothing and guarantees your slot.

02First fitting: assess everything

Bring the dress and anything you'll wear with it. We assess the fit together — hem length, bodice, waist, straps — and agree an upfront price and a pickup date before anything begins.

03Second fitting: refine

Most bridal gowns need at least two sittings. The second fitting checks the drape and movement after the main work, with small refinements where needed.

04Collect, pressed and ready

You collect on the agreed date, try the finished dress on, and walk out knowing it fits. No chasing, no last-minute panic.

Got a date? Book the fitting.

Message us on WhatsApp with your wedding date and dress details — we'll arrange your first fitting and an upfront quote.
